Pedro Johnson
a love poem
Written as a response to the end of Psalm 48, "Ou Boulomai Adein" laments an inevitable, long-distance relationship, and the difficulties in communicating because of the heartbreak of separation. Revisiting the same image of Jerusalem, Pedro Johnson wrote the song in Koine Greek, the language of the earliest translation of the Hebrew Bible, the Septuagint. "Ou Boulomai Adein" is beautifully brought to life in collaboration with the world-renowned Greek lyre-player, Lina Palera.
